Surprising Delectable Sandwich

So, the other day I decided to throw some random things together in hopes to make a delicious sandwich….and a delicious sandwich I made! Here goes: Take some bread (really any bread of your choice works perfectly, but used a white bread with some onions in it and sometimes a dill feta bread), cheese (any cheese of your choice, I use Havarti cheese), and some salsa (again, of your choice). I put it all together, put it in my Gary Foreman grill (a toaster will do just fine), and boy oh boy this sandwich, with the delicious, melty, now-stringy cheese was to die for. Later on I added some chicken to it, which made it just as delicious, but it is not needed in order to create the ideal sandwich. This sandwich is extremely easy to make an utterly delicious.

So the other day I went to this place called Duckie’s Chowder House in Cayucos. Well, I’m here to share with you… OHMYGOSH! Not only do they have delicious employees… 😉 they have delicious food! I had THE best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had my whole life. It consisted of a boneless skinless chicken breast inside a bread and cheese melted on top of your choice, I chose sourdough bread and jack cheese of course. It had barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions (all of which are optional). I decided to save my fellow friends and skipped the onions but boy oh boy this sandwich was absolutely amazing, I think it’s safe to say it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. If you don’t have this place nearby I recommend you definitely try this at home because I bet you guys can work it out!!

Deliciously moist and chewy chocolate chip cookies

Well here’s the thing… chocolate chip cookies are an essential part of my diet. I have one every night. No, I’m not some overweight monster who chomps down all the food she can get her hands on, but yes I do eat a lot of food, and yes I have a cookie every night, but no, I’m not fat. 🙂 Hopefully, that answers your burning suspicion (if you even had one in the first place, that is). Anyway, back to the cookies. Cookies are fairly easy to make which makes it even better. These melt-in-your-mouth thick and chewy cookies are….well…. self-explanatory: melt-in-your-mouth, thick, and chewy. But lets not forget absolutely delicious and to die for, boy oh boy! And ladies and gentlemen, coming directly from me (a trusted source, trust me) 😉 have one every night and pleasure yourself to the max…. because you’re worth it. So yes, I’ll get it over with and tell you the recipe I know you’re dying for me to cut to the chase, here’s the Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie instructions:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 F
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Make sure not to mix it too much. Beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixer bowl until it’s nice and creamy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one. Gradually beat in dry ingredients. Stir the chocolate chips in, and you’re ready to go! Put it in the oven for 9-11 minutes and enjoy! They say it makes 5 dozen cookies but, honestly, they must be making bite size cookies because using that exact recipe I made about 22.

Zucchini Bread!

I made a delicious zucchini bread this weekend! It was moist and extremely healthy, but still tasted great! It consisted of:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup olive oil
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups grated zucchini

This bread was so good! I’ve always had a thing for zucchini breads and cakes and such. I was so happy when I made this because it’s just one of those that can be healthy and you can LOVE at the same time! So if you’ve got any zucchini laying around make use of it and try this 🙂

Cake Pops, yum!

<Okay today my friend and I made THE best cake pops ever. The best part is they are so easy! They take some time with all the cooking and cooling and stuff but overall it was worth it. So here's what we did: We bought a chocolate cake mix, but of course you can make it too with any kind of cake you want. Then we bought some icing (we didn't have time to make any) but that you can make instead as well. We baked the cake and let it cool then we crumbled the beautiful cake into pieces, sadly, and mixed some frosting in with it to help it stick. We mixed some crushed oreos and crumbled reese's (but fyi you can use your favorite candies or anything it doesn't have to be that) into the batter. Then we rolled it all into balls and put it on a plate and stuck it in the freezer. It won't take long, but keep checking on it until it seems cool and firm, then we took it out and spread frosting around it. Unusually, we were out of chocolate chips but it would also be good to melt the chocolate chips and dip to pops in there. Overall, these were delicious!! They were a little big because we would rather have a million big ones than a trillion little ones. Here's some pics:

Ultimate Chocolate Cupcakes

Well today, my friends, my sister and I made some delectable, chocolate, ganache-filled cupcakes all topped with an amazing chocolate frosting. You can find the recipe on her blog. These cupcakes are incredible. I’ve probably mentioned it before but I have serious issues with chocolate. It’s basically a fetish. These cupcakes just hit the spot in the time of need for chocolate. I recommend you try them HANDS DOWN readers!!! Just look at these delicious pictures:

Winner, winner chicken dinner

Well, sadly I have no picture to share with you all tonight but I will admit, I had an incredibly delicious dinner. My meal consisted of chicken tenders, white potatoes, onions, fresh tomatoes, salt, pepper, minced garlic, and one hot pepper all cooked and stirred into one to make one fabulous chicken dinner. The chicken gives it the main taste, the minced garlic and onions really add the kick of flavor, the potatoes and tomatoes gave it a real variety. All together, it was absolutely mouth-watering. Mix it all in and saute it in oil and boy do you have the perfect meal. I’m a sucker for chicken but honestly, I’m extremely picky, especially with my vegetables. But this meal was to die for, it’s a must try readers, I’m telling you! This dinner is easy to do and the whole family will love it, I recommend it, hands down!

My first secret to an easy dessert

Hi readers! This is my first blog, so go easy on me. To start off my blog, I’d like to share with you all my reason behind this: I’m a passionate eater. Along with this I have an obsession with taking pictures of what I eat. Desserts are my specialty. I love finishing off my day with some delectable chocolate-y dessert. I’m here to share them with you and tell you all about it, I can then give you the link of where I got the idea/recipe, etc. Last night’s dessert: Simple chocolate covered marshmallow. This idea was not from a certain website, it’s an obvious but delicious concoction.
